Overview
This mold creates six contemporary beads in three sizes: 1.125, 1.375, and 1.525 inches (30, 35, 40 mm) in diameter. The beads can be strung on leather, rubber, silk, or metal necklaces to create jewelry ranging from simple and casual to dramatic and elegant. Because of mold’s engineering, the beads almost never require any cold work - grinding or polishing.
The mold itself measures 7 x 5.25 x 1 inches (18 x 13.5 x 2.5 cm). We suggest using MR-97 Aerosol Boron Nitride with this mold. See the project sheets in the Learn section for complete instructions and firing schedules and watch a video featuring this design.
